Work Undertakings: Providing agricultural inputs and inspecting the school

Taninthayi Region Chief Minister U MyatKo accompanied by concerned officials attended the demonstration of the pesticide elimination and the provision of Urea Fertilizer and Natural fertilizer produced by Myanma Petrochemical Enterprise to the summer paddy and winter crops growers in Myeik Township on Thursday morning.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister stressed to strive for increased yield per acre of crops in each district and township within the Region, ensuring local food sufficiency. Since expansion of farmlands is limited, the Chief Minister emphasized to pay attention for per acre yield.

Then, the officials clarified matters on provision of urea fertilizers and natural fertilizers and accessing of agricultural water for summer paddy plantations. It was followed by the provision of fertilizers to the growers, and a grower expressed words of gratitude on behalf of the attendees.

Next, the Chief Minister and party oversaw the demonstration of pesticide elimination. On arrival at the Agriculture and Livestock Breeding High School in Thamote Village, the Chief Minister and party encouraged the students who are sitting for an exam.

They also overviewed the plantations and livestock farms, organized by the students. Next, the Chief Minister inspected the construction of student dormitories and provided necessary instructions on timely completion of the construction meeting the set standards. Then, the Chief Minister heard reports on the necessities of the school and coordinated requirements.
