






Chief Minister of Kayah State U Sein U, along with officials, inspected ongoing development projects in Loikaw on Sunday. They inspected the construction of a 600-meter concrete drainage system in Min Su Ward, funded by the state budget for the fiscal year 2025-2026, and upgrades to the 455-foot long Sawlaphaw Road.
The Chief Minister and party also viewed the efforts to maintain the cleanliness and environmental sustainability around Min Kyaung Lake. During the inspection, the Chief Minister emphasized the need for timely completion of the projects, proper cleanliness of roads and streets, and the enhancement of the lakes for public enjoyment. He also urged for ongoing efforts to make the city greener, cleaner, and smarter.
In the afternoon, the Chief Minister and officials visited literacy training camps in rural areas, where ethnic people are receiving education. He encouraged the teachers to continue their efforts in guiding students, ensuring that they keep learning even after the course is completed.
