Work coordination meeting: Magwe Region CM coordinated requirements

The development of agricultural sector and to meet the target and to be over of 10 major crops is being carried out in Magwe Region and the work coordination meeting on the development of oil crops in the region was held in the afternoon on February 6 at the region government office.

At the meeting, the chief minister U Tint Lwin said that the region is with the agro-base economy and the oil pot of the country, but it’s lack of meeting the target set by the state. So, it needs to endeavor to be a region which can fulfill the domestic oil requirement. Regarding with the major setbacks in the agriculture and oil crops sector and the matters needed the assistance to be provided by the region government are to be reported in time.

Next, the deputy director of the office of the region government read the decisions made at the previous coordination meeting on the development of oil crops and the chief minister coordinated with the relevant departments in responding to the reports of head officer of region agriculture department, district administrators and attendees, it’s reported.
