Work Coordination Meeting: Efforts for development of agriculture

The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation held a work coordination meeting on Development of Agriculture on 6th June.

Speaking on the occasion, Union Minister U Min Naung highlighted the efforts of the agricultural enterprises to secure local food sufficiency and to be a driving force in rehabilitation process during post disaster period.

The Union Minister also called for the full participation of farmers and growers in meeting target yields, full capacity operation of livestock breeding sector and fishery sector to increase national income. He urged the relevant officials to secure the active participation of farmers and growers in sector-wise implementations.

The region and state Agriculture ministers and officials made clarifications on current work undertaking and further task implementation respectively. Upon clarifications, the Union Minister supplemented necessities and concluded the meeting.
