






Union Minister for Women's Affairs, Dr. Thet Thet Zin, accompanied by the Chairman of the Myanmar Women's Affairs Federation and officials visited Inn Paw Khone Village Basic Education Primary School in Inn Paw Khone Village on 11th June.
They also provided school text books, stationery and 10 million kyats of cash assistance to students during their visit. The Union Minister and party also met 10 female volunteers who will implement a rural women's development project in the village. She stressed the importance of empowering women, improving livelihoods and strengthening cooperation among organizations under the Myanmar National Committee on Women.
She highlighted key rural development measures, including ensuring school attendance for all children, supporting women to run small businesses on a manageable skill, providing training for village volunteers and establishing systematic work plans at district, township and village levels.
She also called for continuous monitoring of project activities and greater public participation to promote sustainable development. During the meeting, cash assistance and commemorative gifts were also presented to the 10 female volunteers.
