Wildfire forces evacuation of more than 20000 people in Canada

A fast-moving wildfire in British Columbia of Canada, has forced the evacuation of more than 20,000 residents near Okanagan Lake. British Columbia Premier David Eby declared a state of emergency to unlock special response powers. The out-of-control Bald Range wildfire rapidly expanded near Summerland and Peachland, destroying properties and leading to localized air rescues.
