WAVES-2025: Myanmar delegation attends the event in Mumbai

Under the motto “Positioning India as a global hub for digital innovation”, the opening ceremony of World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES-2025) took place in Mumbai of India on May 1st.

Myanmar delegation led by Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Information U Ye Tint attended the ceremony together with the high-ranking officials, experts from 75 countries and famous celebrities from film industry. The ceremony was inaugurated by the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with the screening of Indian cultural and traditions, media and entertainment development.

WAVES-2025 is schedule to be held from 1st to 4th May with the aims for global collaboration in media and entertainment innovations, opportunities and challenges of future media industry. Through the connection of all media and entertainment industries across the world, the summit targets to discuss for opening of new industries, adopting strategic plans to foster understanding on transboundary cultural exchanges and to accelerate innovation.
