





Kayah State Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin attended and delivered an opening speech at the water rescue practical demonstration and training event held at Naung Yah Kan Thar in Daw U Khu Ward, Loikaw on June 18. The event was aimed at enhancing response capabilities for natural disasters within the Kayah State.
During his opening remarks, the Chief Minister explained that this simulation exercise was designed to enable a real-time response to potential floods. He emphasized that firefighters must continuously strive to improve their capabilities to ensure effective search and rescue operations.
Following his speech, the Chief Minister and officials observed and encouraged the practical rescue demonstrations performed by regular and auxiliary firefighters who had attended Motorboat Driving Course Batch (1/2025).
The Chief Minister then delivered words of encouragement to the regular firefighters who participated in the water rescue demonstration. He and the Commander of Regional Operation Command presented honorary awards, which were received by representatives. After that, the Chief Minister and officials cordially greeted and encouraged the regular firefighters, auxiliary firefighters, and departmental staff.
