Volunteer Training: Online Training Conducted For The Volunteers

National Volunteers Steering Unit is conducting online training to the volunteers who are working at the quarantine centers on Sunday.

In cooperation with the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, Ministry of Health and Sports and Myanmar Medical Association, the Steering Unit has issued a handbook for the volunteers. They also conduct trainings, provide the preventive supplies for their safety, accommodation, foodstuff and transportation services as well as enough time for rest.

As a first batch of online training, 62 volunteers from Nay Pyi Taw Council, Magwe and Bago Regions and Chin and Kayah States were provided lessons on interaction, counselling, caring for women, elders, pregnant mothers, infants, children, persons with disabilities and those who suffer the chronicle disease. They were also explained about disease prevention measures and systematic wearing of PPE.
