Volleyball semifinal matches: Shan State CM encouraged the competitions

The 2025 Regions and states Women's Volleyball Semifinal match was held on June 11th at the State Sports Training Hall in Taunggyi. The event was attended by the Shan State Chief Minister, state ministers, State Advocate General, Secretary of the State Government, state, district, and township level departmental officials, male and female trainees from the Taunggyi Education Degree College, female trainees from the Nursing Training School, students from the Institute of Sports (Taunggyi), local residents, and sports enthusiasts.

In the first women's semifinal match, the Shan State team competed against the Mandalay Region team, with the Mandalay Region team winning three sets to one. In the other women's semifinal match, the Yangon Region team played against the Kachin State team, with the Yangon Region team also winning three sets to one.

Following this, in the men's semifinal matches, the Mandalay Region team competed against the Yangon Region team, with the Mandalay Region team winning three sets to one. The Shan State team played against the Sagaing Region team, with the Shan State team winning three sets to one.

It was reported that the finals of the 2025 Regions and states Men's and Women's Volleyball Tournament will be held on June 12th. The women's final will feature the Mandalay Region team against the Yangon Region team, while the men's final will see the Shan State team compete against the Mandalay Region team.
