Visiting Aerospace City: President visited Aerospace City in Beijing

Following an invitation from the President Xi Jinping of the People’s Republic of China, the high-level delegation of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, led by the President U Min Aung Hlaing, who is on a State Visit to Beijing, visited the Aerospace City Monday afternoon.

Upon arrival, President and delegation members were warmly welcomed by Mr. Zhou Jie, Chief Executive of Aerospace City within the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), along with other responsible officials. At the hall, the Chief Executive expressed his great honor and pleasure in receiving the visit of the Myanmar President and his delegation to the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), and delivered a welcoming address.

Following this, the Chief Executive and officials briefed the delegation on Aerospace City and presented an informative video clip. The President and delegation viewed the presentation and engaged in discussions, asking questions for further clarification.

Afterwards, the President and delegation toured various exhibition halls, including displays on the history of Aerospace City, the Baidu Navigation System, telecommunications systems, Earth Remote Sensing (ERS), and astronaut training systems. Each section was explained by the Chief Executive and relevant officials. Following the presentations, the President asked questions and discussed matters of interest.

The delegation also visited the exhibition on China’s Manned Spaceflight astronaut training system, and took a group commemorative photograph. Afterward, the President and delegation bid farewell to the Chief Executive and officials of Aerospace City in a cordial manner and returned to the Diaoyutai State Guest House, it’s reported.
