The Dell'Antonia Field Hospital for COVID-19 patients, on the outskirts of Sao Paulo, reported on Tuesday a decreasing occupancy in its beds.

The city and the surrounding areas have increased available spaces, as health authorities reported a record number of 334 coronavirus deaths. Most patients can talk to their families through video-conferencing and in one rare case, a woman was allowed to stay for a couple of days after the hospital discharged her, so she could take care of her mother who was also a patient in the same hospital. Brazil reported on Tuesday more than 38,400 deaths and almost 740,000 COVID-19 cases.
