University Visit : MOE Union Minister visits Dagon University

Union Minister for Education Dr. Chaw Chaw Sein, along with the Deputy Minister Dr. Zaw Myint and officials, visited the Dagon University in Dagon Myo Thit (East) Township on Saturday.

The Union Minister met with the Director General and officials from the Ministry of Construction at the university convocation hall and made instructions on renovation of university entrance road, campus buildings and theatres in line with the university characteristics.

In addition, with the cooperation with Yangon Region Government, the Union Minister stressed to implement regular maintenance of the campus to ensure better drainage system and cleaning and greening process of sport ground and the whole campus.

The Union Minister made additional discussion on the University Master Plan, current and future working process. The Union Minister and party later toured around the campus and inspected the cleaning and greening works, drainage excavation, University railway station, canteens, renovation of Ruby roundabout and football grounds.
