Ukraine First Lady praises women of her country

Ukraine's First Lady Olena Zelenska participated in a European Council discussion on "Women in Conflict" on Friday. She emphasised the role of women in Ukraine's fight against Russia, saying "Ukrainian women cannot be called mere victims." Zelenska said that before the war, women were playing pivotal roles in all spheres of Ukraine's development. She said that this has only continued during the war, with women showing examples of heroism and stoicism. The President of Georgia, the President of the European Council and Nobel Prize Laureate, Nadia Murad, also participated in the discussion.
