As the coronavirus pandemic hits Britain's arts industry, one theatre group has brought their traditional Christmas pantomime into the open by touring car parks across the U.K. Blaring car horns replaced audience cheers and jeers when the panto performance came to Chelmsford in earlier in December.

The cast of 'Horrible Christmas' had to form a coronavirus bubble to avoid falling ill themselves. Guy Robinson, CEO of the Coalition Agency live entertainment company, said although the shows ran a profit, this wasn't enough to solve his company's financial problems. The U.K. government has promised a 2.1 billion dollar rescue package to aid the arts sector.
