Turkiye’s first and the world’s fifth fragrance museum

Turkiye’s first and the world’s fifth fragrance museum has opened in the southwestern city of Isparta, offering visitors a journey through the history and culture of scent.

The museum showcases the historical development of fragrance culture, from ancient civilizations to modern perfumery. One of the museum’s most remarkable attractions is the recipe of the world’s first perfume, dating back approximately 4,500 years. Developed through experimental methods based on historical records, the ancient fragrance recipe is presented to visitors as part of the exhibition.

Beyond roses, the museum celebrates a variety of aromatic plants and flowers, including lavender, golden herb, and tulips, filling the exhibition space with their distinctive scents.
