Turkish president arrives in Azerbaijan capital

Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and First Lady Emine Erdogan landed in Baku on Wednesday, marking the first day of their official trip to Azerbaijan.
The President and First Lady were greeted by an Azerbaijani-Turkish delegation. Erdogan will be attending a massive military parade on Thursday to celebrate the outcome of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Turkey strongly backed Azerbaijan during the conflict, which it used to expand its clout in the region.
