Train Service: More Trains Added For Mawlamyine-Yangon Route

Mawlamyine-Yangon No.82 Down Train resumed operation at 8:00 pm on Tuesday for the convenience of commuters during COVID-19 period. It is learnt that the passengers have to wear masks as per the instructions of the Ministry of Health and Sports to prevent from COVID-19 infection.

Arrangements were also made for social distancing practice such as selling two seats for one ticket and providing basin and soaps in each coach as well as at the rail stations.

No-90 Down Train and No.89 Up Train for Mawlamyine-Yangon route have been started operation at 8:00 am every morning since 10th of April. No.82 Down Train and No.81 Up Train were added to the same route for convenience of the passengers.

Train tickets have been sold one day ahead as usual from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm with the price of 2150 for ordinary class and 4250 for upper class.
