Thirty-eight people were injured in a train accident in northern Egypt, the health ministry said on Thursday. The train derailed off the tracks while on a journey from Egypt's second largest city of Alexandria to the Mediterranean city of Marsa Matruh. The injured were taken to nearby hospitals and discharged shortly after being treated for minor injuries. The Governor of Marsa Matruh said only five patients remained under care and were undergoing final checks before their release.
