Traditional Medicine Conference & Expo: Union Minister for Health leaves for India

Union Minister for Health Dr. Thet Khaing Win and party left for India from Yangon International Airport on Wednesday to attend the Traditional Medicine Conference and Expo of Shanghai Cooperation Organization which will be held from 2nd to 3rd March in Guwahati, India.

Union Minister and party were seen off at the Airport by Indian Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. Vinay Kumar and officials from the Ministry of Health. India which is the alternate-chair of Shanghai Cooperation Organization will host the Traditional Medicine Conference and Expo. The member countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, observers and partner countries will discuss development of traditional medicine sector and cooperation among each other at the conference and expo.
