Track and Field Competition: Tanintharyi Region CM presented trophies

The final match and prize presentation ceremony of Tanintharyi Region Chief Minister’s Cup U-18 Track and Field competition was held on 27th January at Shwe Wal Thiri Sports ground in Dawei Township.

First the Chief Minister, Chief Justice of region High Court, and Region Ministers enjoyed the Men/Women’s 100 meter race and Men/Women’s relay race (400 x 4 ) competitions together with the officials from relevant department, athletes and sport enthusiasts.

At the prize presentation ceremony, Region Minister for social affairs presented honorary awards to Red Cross Society which provided necessary assistance to Track and Field competition. Region Minister for Natural Resources presented honorary awards and cash prizes to 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners of Women’s 100 meter race and honorary awards and cash prizes to 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners of Men’s 100-meter race.

Region Minister for security and border affairs presented honorary awards and cash prizes to 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winning teams of Men (400 x 4) relay competitions.

And then Chief Justice of Region High Court presented honorary awards and cash prizes to 1st, 2nd, 3rd prize winning teams of Women (400 x 4) relay race competitions. The Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko presented trophy to the highest score winner team of Tha Yat Chaung Township.
