Tourism Development: Meeting with tourism-related organizations in Bagan

Union Minister for Hotels, Tourism and Culture U Maung Myint on June 6, met with tourism-related organizations and hotel representatives in Bagan to discuss the development of the tourism sector.

The Union Minister stressed the importance of promoting culture-based tourism in Bagan and called for stronger cooperation among government departments and tourism associations. He encouraged visitors to share accurate information about Myanmar to help attract more international tourists.

The Union Minister also highlighted the need to provide training programs to improve the skills and capacity of tourism workers during periods of low tourist arrivals. Participants raised questions and discussed ways to further support the tourism industry in Bagan.
