Tour in Pyin Oo Lwin: Inspection at the factories and mills

Chairman of the Macro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Development Work Committee, Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than visited coffee industry in Pyin Oo Lwin of Mandalay Region on Sunday.

They inspected the production process of instant coffee, and instructed for quality control, adhering to the Good Manufacturing Practices. The Union Minister and party later visited the Fiber Cement Board Factory in Sintkai Township and heard reports on the production process.

The Union Minister stressed the need to boost production to meet the demand for reconstruction efforts, ensuring the quality of the products. They then visited M Steel and Han Steel Power Mills and inspected the production process. The Union Minister urged to follow the quality control measures, and pledged to provide technical assistance for sustainability.
