Thousands of people gathered in central London on Wednesday to protest against racism after the death of George Floyd in the U.S. city of Minneapolis.

Many of the protesters wore face masks and were dressed in red. Some waved banners. Protesters chanted Floyd's name and "Black lives matter," while others chanted expletives about U.S. President Donald Trump and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. The Hyde Park rally is the second major protest in Britain after hundreds gathered in London's Trafalgar Square on Sunday before marching to the U.S. embassy.
