The bushfire benefit concert, Fire Fight Australia, kicked off in Sydney on Sunday with numerous local and international acts performing for thousands of fans. More than 70,000 people are expected at the concert, hearing from artists like Queen, Alice Cooper, Olivia Newton-John and John Farnham.

Australian comedian Celeste Barber hosted the concert, with profits from the event raising money for rural fire services, communities affected by bushfires and animal welfare. Australia battled hundreds of blazes since September that has destroyed nearly 12 million hectares, killing 33 people and an estimated 1 billion native animals.
