Technical cooperation: PM receives DG of Rosatom State Corporations

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received a delegation led by Director General of State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom of the Russian Federation Mr. Alexey Evgenievich Likhachev at the Zeyathiri Beikman in Yangon on Monday.

The meeting was also attended by Joint Secretary of the SAC Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr MyoThein Kyaw, Union Minister for Electric Power U Thaung Han, Russian Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. Nikolay LISTOPADOV and officials.

On the occasion, they discussed the conditions which nuclear energy can be used beneficially in health and agricultural matters including in industries such as electricity generation and technical cooperation for the peaceful use of nuclear energy technology. After the meeting, the Prime Minister and the Director General of ROSATOM State Corporations exchanged commemorative gifts.
