Tabaung Festival: Yangon Region CM offerrd alms donation

The 2611th Buddha Pujaniya Tabaung Festival and alms donation ceremony were held on Sunday at 4 pm in the precinct of Shwedagon Pagoda.

Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein and wife, Yangon Command Commander Maj-Gen Nyunt Win Swe and wife, regional cabinet members and their wives, members of the board of trustees, departmental personnel, religious associations and well-wishers offered rice alms on 117 members of Sangha and 27 nuns, totalling 144, it’s reported.
