Türkiye, Russia hold diplomatic talks

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye Hakan Fidan met Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Moscow during a visit at Lavrov’s invitation.

The two ministers discussed bilateral relations as well as a range of regional and international developments. A key topic on the agenda was the ongoing diplomatic process between the United States and Iran. Speaking after the meeting, Fidan warned that Israel could attempt to undermine the negotiations.

Fidan stressed that the issue extends beyond the interests of a handful of countries and should be viewed as a matter affecting the international community as a whole. Lavrov, for his part, described the discussions as productive and said the talks had yielded meaningful results.
