Syria FM arrives in Pakistan for two-day visit

Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani arrived in Islamabad on a two-day official visit to Pakistan. The visit also marked the first high-level visit by a Syrian top diplomat in 19 years. He is accompanied by a high-level delegation at the invitation of Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar. According to the Syrian Foreign Ministry, discussions will be focused on economic, trade, and defense cooperation.
