Support for Sports: MOYSA Union Minister inspects sports facilities in Yangon

Chairman of Myanmar Olympic Committee Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Jeng Phang Naw Taung visited Kyaikkasan Ground in Yangon on Saturday. He observed the training process of men and women football teams for Myanmar National League and Myanmar Women League.

The Union Minister urged the players to strive for achieving success, following the instructions of the coaches and ensuring physical fitness. They then visited Aung San Stadium in Mingalataungnyunt Township to oversee the training process of volleyball players who have been selected tentatively for the 33rd SEA Games.

The Union Minister later met with Myanmar Teqball Federation in Kamayut Township and discussed the efforts for achieving medals in the upcoming SEA Games, hiring foreign coach, conducting the invitational competitions and joint training and availability of sports grounds and office room. The Union Minister and party later visited the Myanmar Table Tennis Federation in Dagon Township and viewed the training process of the players.
