Support for Sports: MOSYA Union Minister meets with athletes

Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Jeng Phang Naw Taung visited training camps in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday.

They first visited Wunna Theikdi Stadium, where boxers and weightlifters are training in preparation for the 33rd SEA Games, which will be held in Thailand in December 2025. They also inspected the archery training ground to observe the archers' practice sessions.

During the visits, the Union Minister met with coaches and athletes, and discussed to achieve victory, while improving techniques, maintaining physical fitness and strength, and ensuring mental resilience and a strong competitive spirit. Furthermore, the Union Minister addressed issues regarding the condition of the training venues and facilities, ensuring the provision of adequate training equipment.
