





The Mary Chapman School for the Deaf opened the summer school for the first time in summer holidays to develop physically and mentally of the children.
The opening ceremony of the course was held at the school on March 6.-The summer courses consist of writing, reading and speaking courses of the Myanmar, English, Math subjects, computer course, cooking course, beauty course and swimming course.
Principal , Mary Chapman School for the Deaf, Khin Thida Nyunt, said " The school closed in February and most of the children went home. We conducted a summer school course for 15 children who stay at our school and the children who attend from outside.Under 13 is junior class and above 13 is senior class.From March 6 to May 22, we draft the curriculum which fix within 3 months.If we want to give information, we share it on facebook.By opening such kind of summer course ,for junior students -they will gain knowledge deviated from school literature and for senior students- we think how to provide and help them to get job."
Trainee, Thin Than darZaw, said " My mother saw this summer school on facebook page and she told me to join and I am also interested in these courses so I came to school. I have no connection with this school for a long time. That is the first time coming back to school. I am very happy .I hope I will increase my knowledge more than before. I am interested in computer courses so I will learn that.Like ordinary people, I will try my best to be an expert, that is my aim."
At the first time summer courses, 30 trannies join and the school was from From March 6 to May 22
