Students received vaccination: Union Minister visited schools and encouraged the vaccination

The Union Minister for Education Dr. Nyunt Pe together with the deputy ministers visited the basic education high schools in Nay Pyi Taw, Tuesday morning and encouraged the giving vaccination against COVID-19 to the middle school and high school students who are 12 years old and above.

First, the Union Minister visited basic education high school (18) in Dakkhinathiri Township, encouraged the vaccination program for students and briefed on benefits of students by receiving vaccination, giving vaccination to the students in neighboring countries. Then, Union Minister fulfilled requirements in the students vaccination program.

Before giving COVID-19 jabs to the students, the township health workers carried out all necessary medical examination on the students. Next, the Union Minister together with the chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council Dr. Maung Maung Naing and officials also visited high schools where giving vaccination to the students in Zabuthiri and Uttarathiri Townships.

In the 8 townships of Nay Pyi Taw Council area, over 80,000 middle school and high school students who are 12 years old and above will be given vaccination and it will be continued to the middle and high school students across the nation.
