Strikes continue amid reported ceasefire between Israel, Hezbollah

Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon had agreed to a ceasefire, yet strikes continued after the time point, according to reports on Friday. Hezbollah formally rejected the US-backed ceasefire, insisting they will continue fighting until there is a complete Israeli withdrawal from southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah continue to target Israeli forces and infrastructure, launching barrages of drones and rockets against Israeli positions. Meanwhile, Israeli defense officials have stated they will maintain their military presence in Lebanese buffer and security zones regardless of the diplomatic deadlock.
