Strengthening Production Strategies: Union Minister for Industry attends a workshop

A workshop on strengthening production strategies leading to the market for state-owned enterprises was held at the Ministry of Industry in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday.

At the workshop, Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than said in order to achieve the goals of an organization and to fully implement the objectives, the capacity must be improved.

Leadership development, training, experts, providing guidance, group learning, organizing, cooperation and Information technology capability is also a factor to be used in capacity building.

He added that all have a responsibility to hand over the achievements to the next generation. Participants are urged to share their knowledge and skills and to have an open discussion based on their experiences.

In order to know the market concept, small market, designing and management, market research, basics of innovation and waste reduction subjects to improve the production will be conducted by the staff of the Ministry in 2-day workshop.

The workshop focused on the development of policies and procedures for the promotion of industrial products, to change the product-oriented system to the market-oriented system and to operate with innovative practices and to reduce waste and increase productivity.
