










Union Minister for the President’s Office and National Security Adviser U Tin Aung San received a Thai delegation led by National Security Council (NSC) Secretary-General Mr. Chatuchai Bangchuad at the President’s Office in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.
Both sides discussed strengthening bilateral relations, border security and cooperation, combating transnational crime, online scams and drug-related offences, information security cooperation, border gates and bilateral trade, environmental conservation, and ASEAN regional engagement and development.
In the evening, the Union Minister hosted a dinner reception for the Thai delegation at the Jasmine Naypyitaw Hotel. The Union Minister and NSC Secretary-General delivered remarks, followed by the cultural performances by the artists from the Ministry of Culture, Hotels and Tourism.
The Thai delegation arrived in Myanmar on 26 August. During the visit, the delegation visited the prominent landmarks in Yangon and Nay Pyi Taw including the Secretariat Building, the National Museum, the Yadana White Elephant House and the Maravijaya Buddha Image.
