Statewide School Enrollment: Mon State CM attended and delivered the remarks

The 2025–2026 Academic Year Statewide School Enrollment Ceremony was held at the Basic Education High School No. 9 in Mawlamyaing on May 29.

Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. At the ceremony, the Mon State Education Officer presented a briefing on the current status of school enrollment. Following this, the Chief Minister and members of the state government handed over free educational supplies provided by the Ministry of Education including school textbooks, blank exercise books, pens, pencils, and school uniforms as well as water bottles, school backpacks, and umbrellas donated by well-wishers to students.

Additionally, donations from well-wishers intended for students across Mon State’s basic education schools for the 2025–2026 academic year were presented, and the State Education Officer accepted the donations and presented certificates of honor.

After that, the Chief Minister, State ministers, and officials visited classrooms at BEHS No. 9 to observe the school enrollment process and handed out school supplies textbooks, blank books, pens, pencils, water bottles, and school uniforms to enrolled students.
