Star Wars fans and art lovers line up for new Lucas museum

The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art officially opened to the public on Tuesday, in Exposition Park, Los Angeles. Star Wars franchise creator George Lucas, personally greeted the first 100 visitors at the entrance of the building.

Designed as a "people's temple of art," the massive facility bridges fine art and popular storytelling. While featuring extensive artwork, comics, illustrations, and photography, the museum also houses iconic pieces from George Lucas's film archive.
