


Member of the State Administration Council Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Soe Htut on Tuesday presided over a meeting on importance of adherence to the news release by the State Administration Council’s Information Team.
In his address, the Union Minister stressed that the news release states that currently, terrorist groups such as CRPH, NUG and their subordinates and related organizations are instigating to undermine peace and stability of the State through facebook accounts. The instigations are being spread on social networks.
It is announced that if people perform the instigations and propagandas whether they understand or not, fear or not, commit acts that can disturb to people by voice and anyway, share the propagandas and make encouragement, they may be taken actions in accord with Counter-Terrorism Law section 52-a, sections 124-a and 505-a of Code of Criminal and Telecommunication Law section 33-a and the existing laws.
In addition, the movable and immovable things concerning the case can be seized in accord with the Counter-Terrorism Law. If convicted, they can be confiscated as state treasury. The Union Minister also urged the concerned officials to make the people know these facts. This meeting continued with discussions on plans.
