Special refresher course: UCSB Chairman delivered the opening speech

Chairman of the Union Civil Service Board (UCSB), U Aung Thaw, attended the opening ceremony of the Special Refresher Course No. (79) for Basic Education Teachers, held at the Civil Service Academy (Upper Myanmar) on June 16, 2025, and delivered an opening speech.

In his address, Chairman U Aung Thaw stated that the course will cover key aspects such as  the national policies of the State national security and defense initiatives, fundamental political, economic, and social issues, administrative and instructional rules and regulations related to students and the ethics and professional standards of teachers etc. He also emphasized the importance of understanding the laws, by-laws, and rules and regulations that every civil servant should know, as well as improving attitudes and mindset through the training program.

A total of 374 trainees are attending the Special Refresher Course No. (79). The training will run for five weeks, from June 16 to July 18.

Following the ceremony, the Chairman and responsible officials also observed the Management and Legal Studies discussions of trainees from the Clerical Staff Training Course No. (113) currently being conducted at the Academy.

Later, the Chairman and officials had lunch together with the trainees from the Special Refresher Course No. (79) for Basic Education Teachers.
