Special Refresher Course: Course for Basic Education Teachers opened

The Special Refresher Course for Basic Education Teachers, Course No. (115), was opened Monday morning at the Yadana Theinga Hall of the Civil Service Academy (Lower Myanmar), with 48 male trainees and 424 female trainees, totaling 472 participants.

At the opening ceremony, U Soe Tint, member of the Union Civil Service Board (representing the Chairman), stated that the State is giving priority and support to the advancement of education. He emphasized that teachers should not only teach subjects but also nurture young people to become well-rounded individuals with union spirit and patriotism, who value and respect discipline, possess critical thinking skills, and have empathy.

The course will be conducted for five weeks, from August 10 to September 11.

After the opening ceremony, preparations for the second monsoon season tree-planting event, planted seasonal crop fields, mushroom cultivation sites, livestock farms, ongoing class sessions, trainee dormitories, and the dining hall were inspected. The officials met with the Rector and responsible persons from the Academy's academic and administrative departments at the Academy's meeting hall to discuss training and administrative matters, it’s reported.
