Space Technology: Acting President meets with Russian delegation

A Russian delegation led by Mr. Dmitry V. Bakanov, General Director of Roscosmos, Russia's State Space Corporation, paid a courtesy call to Acting President, Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission Senior General Min Aung Hlaing at Zeya Thiri Beikman in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday.

The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation in space technology between Roscosmos and Myanmar Space Agency, efforts for widely utilization of space technology in Myanmar and launching satellites for public benefits, as well as for human resource development and space technology.

They also talked about the upgrades of the Space Museum (Yangon) for public attraction, cooperation on the use of outer space for peaceful purposes and sending students to Russia for the development of space technology in Myanmar.
