Solo Art Show: 5-Day Exhibition at Artissmile Art House

Lovely art works depicting the Myanma traditional customs can be enjoyed at a Solo Art Show, being displayed at Artissmile Art House in Yangon.

This is the second solo show of Artist Shwe Yoe Yar and over 40 art works are put on display at the exhibition.

Artist, Shwe Yoe Yar said “Since my art works are traditional one, I use to draw about our traditional customs. I portray the art works based on my experience throughout my childhood and other doyen artists.”

The paintings mostly depict the rural lifestyle and seasonal festivals of Myanmar people.

In-Charge, Artissmile Art House, Hein Min Htet said “The visitors can enjoy the art works of Artist Shwe Yoe Yar. Most of his art works portray the traditional culture such as rural life and seasonal festivals. It also looks lovely since it has been portrayed in cartoon style.”

The paintings are also put on sale at a price ranging from 300,000 to 1.8 million kyats.

Visitor, Soe Nyunt said “I use to collect the art works of Artist Shwe Yoe Yar. Most of his art works portray about the season festivals like Thingyan water festival and Thidingyut lighting festival. It makes the viewers feel happy and satisfaction as we can also remember the memory of our childhood.”

The Solo Art Show will be on display for five days from 5th to 9th March.
