Solar-Powered Irrigation: Project Underway In Magway Township Area

Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin on Sunday inspected implementation of the Kyar Ngone Phue Solar-Powered Irrigation Project in TutKone Village of Magway.

There, the Chief Minister heard reports on the Project to irrigate 200 acres of farmland and gave necessary instructions. The Chief Minister also met with farmers and growers and explained advantages of the Solar-Powered Irrigation system.

Villagers reported on matters for development of the Village, and the Chief Minister provided assistance. Upon completion, the KyarNgonePhue Solar-Powered Irrigation Project will be able to irrigate 200 out of 900 acres farmland in TutKone Village 20 miles south of Magway.
