Social Welfare: Meeting with the UNFPA delegation

Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr Soe Win received Resident Representative of United Nations Populations Fund (UNFPA) in Myanmar Mr Jaime Nadal Roig at the Ministry on Thursday.

They discussed matters on development works in Myanmar, cooperation between the Ministry and UNFPA, and successful implementation of the Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment (GEWE). They also exchanged views on the Ministry's assistance for speedy distribution of UNFPA's relief supplies during disasters and further collaboration in humanitarian works.
