A 4.8-magnitude earthquake hit about 22 miles northwest of Laukkaing Township on Tuesday, according to the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology.
The slight earthquake in Shan State with a depth of 10 kilometers occurred at about 8:14 a.m. Myanmar Standard Time.
