A 3.7-magnitude earthquake hit with its epicenter about 16 miles southeast of Tangyan Township on Thursday, according to the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology.

The slight earthquake in Shan State with a depth of 5 kilometers occurred at 4:11 a.m. Myanmar Standard Time.
