Shanghai Tourist Attractions Draw Crowds During Holidays

Local suburban scenic spots around Shanghai have been busy during the National Day holidays. Changxing Island Country Park in Chongming District has been one of the most popular areas. People have camped, indulged in a barbecue and played with their pets. In the animal park, visitors can feed alpaca and fish for shrimps.

At Pearl Lake in Chongming, visitors can stroll around a sea of pink grass. About 420 thousands people visited the island's tourist attractions on the first five days of the holidays. The tourism bureau says that the attractions will continue to open to public after the holidays.
