Shanghai Received 4.4 Million Tourists on Sunday

According to the latest monitoring released by Shanghai Tourism Big Data, Shanghai has received a total of 4.4233 million tourists on Sunday.

During the May Day holiday, the travel needs of passengers nationwide are fully unleashed. On Saturday, the national railway sent 19.5 million passengers, setting a record high in daily passenger flow. Data shows that on Sunday, the total passenger flow in the Bund waterfront area reached 425,000 people throughout the day.

Meanwhile, Shanghai's two major airports have also experienced a peak of domestic and international travelers. The total passenger flow of Shanghai's two major airports is expected to exceed 1.4 million, with an average daily passenger flow of nearly 300,000, basically recovering to nearly 90% of the same period in 2019.
