Shanghai to let parents stay with infected kids

Shanghai will allow parents to stay with their children who have COVID-19 as China's largest city sees another jump in cases.
Parents who fully comprehend the health risks and sign an agreement will be permitted to accompany their children in monitoring facilities. Parents must still wear masks, eat separately, avoid sharing personal items and strictly follow all aspects of the management system. On Tuesday, Shanghai remains under complete lockdown to fight China's latest outbreak with another 17,077 cases recorded. A new makeshift hospital in southeastern Shanghai began to receive infected patients on Wednesday, planning to offer 13,600 beds, half of which were already put into use.
